What should I wear and bring paddling?
You will need a suitable buoyancy aid, clothes you don't mind getting wet and closed in footwear. Personal Floatation devices/manual inflation devices are not suitable as these do not protect you if you are not in a state to inflate them.
Please do not bring any thing to take on the water that is not waterproof or can't get wet. If you wear glasses, please ensure you are wearing a glasses strap with floaty or neoprene retainer strap. If you don't have these, we strongly suggest you do not wear your glasses on the water.
During the summer, shorts and t-shirts are suitable for most paddling, we can provide a cag to give you some wind protection. During Autumn we suggest you wear a wetsuit and in the winter a dry suit is recommended. We do not have kit to hire at this time.
